What are Fresh Truck Weekly Markets?

Fresh Truck Weekly Markets are sites where we operate our mobile program. We currently run 23 weekly markets at the same locations, with consistent operating hours, all year round. We not only bring fresh food to marginalized communities or areas experiencing food insecurity, but we also ensure that we offer culturally relevant items. With over 40 different items on our menus, we cater to the specific needs and preferences of the communities we serve.

How Do Our Markets Operate?

Our trucks are designed just like regular grocery stores but on wheels. Each truck has shelves, a checkout counter, a fridge, one entrance, and one exit door. Our team sets up the market at our Base of Operations and then drives to the market locations. Once there, we simply open the doors, and customers can start shopping. Translated price tags are visible to our shoppers.

  • Our operating hours are posted below.
  • To ensure a great shopping experience for everyone, we distribute ticket numbers. Please arrive 30 minutes early to get your ticket; or ask for a ticket when you arrive.
  • We accept all payment methods, including EBT/SNAP, HIP, credit and debit cards, cash, Apple Pay, OTC networks, and more.
  • If you are unable to shop on the truck yourself, our team will provide you with a menu to select what you want, and we will shop for you.
  • Our markets are open to everyone. All are welcome to shop with us.
